Have any of you checked out the new browser. I like the old one better cause there is more info in front of you. Instead the new one makes you click through everything. It also forces certain pages on you. We loose some of the choices we use to have. In sports your only allowed to show 6 teams. I want to see all the scores at once. You cannt have the RSS feeds we use to have. Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the old browser?

I think it's a done deal once it changes. I checked it out several days ago when I got my email link.
Like I'm not happy about the change to Hotmail!

I guess I'm the odd man out and actually like the new site. I find there is more info easily available.

I tried the mobile version last night, and that is a GREAT improvement! I rarely log in to Yahoo directly, just use my phone to get mail.

Funny, I tried to log in to the mobile site last week and it kept telling me I was entering a bad username or password. The same one I could log into the online site with.

How can I get back to the old format for home page that I had yesterday. I open my computer today and it has been changed to a new format that I do not like.

It is not beta anymore in the Dallas area. I found a solution to get my old page back. http://my.yahoo.com is just like the old page. Still have the old settings. ![]()

This piece of crap hit us tonight. It's awful. I tried to use old address to get to my previous screen and it just forces the new format through. Apparently we have no choice.
EDIT: Kong57 is right. http://my.yahoo.com works. GREAT! Just remove ATT from the old address. Thank you Kong57!

I have never been so {word filter evasion} in my entire life!
I have had my home page set up as my.yahoo.com before AT&T even had DSL service. Now I have Uverse and AT&T comes along and changes my home page.
AT&T I don't like your new home page!! I don't want your freaking new home page!! I want my old home page back!!! A lot of work went into that page!
You know, change for the sake of change merely shows that a bunch of AT&T employees are trying to justify their jobs. There was ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with the home page the way it was.
I want my home page back the way it was!! It had my personalized stocks on it. It had daily deals on it. It had New York Times news on it. It had Formula One Racing news on it. It had sports set up the way I wanted it.
Tell you one thing - If I have to start from scratch, I guarantee you my home page will no longer be att.my.yahoo.com!! There are other pages I can set up and not worry about jerks destroying the whole thing!!

Why has Uverse Internet forced customers to give up the customize home page for one that is fiilled with crap that they are not interested in. It was one of the best things that uverse had going for it on the intenet. A great home page. Now it is a mess. It is like you are force feeding customers to view the content and ing the order you want it in. To busy of a page to deal with. I am going to try logging onto YAHOO and see if I can customize the page more to my liking if not I will try else where. I am sure if I google it I can find a customizing home page somewhere on the web.
Thanks for running me off.

I noticed tonight when ATT changed the format of the homepage that U-Verse programs and videos were offered. I don't have U-Verse but DSL. If I watch any of the programming, will I be charged for that?
Thank you,

Seriously, There are people that have U-verse TV & not internet. I believe they do not have access to TV on the net.

I would expect you can see the possibility of viewing the TV but would be rejected if you tried it. Why not find out.

AAARRRGGGHHH .. progess?
per a web-chat this morning you can't get back to the old page! This is BAD
**************************************************
ap070h(AARSHAY)However the option to change back to the old view has been permanently disabled since yesterday.
ap070h(AARSHAY)The new att.net has been launched keeping in mind the latest security features and that have been made necessary by the government.
ap070h(AARSHAY)Due to this reason AT&T & Yahoo have created this new homepage as per the new guidelines.
**************************************************
SO once again, the "government" has interfered with our lives making things more difficult!
why can't I personaliz e my new att.net homepage

I call shenanigans -- the fact we cannot customize our newsfeed has NOTHING to do with security features.

Alas, it only lasted 24 hours...now new format overrides no matter what you do. A disastrous offering to the people who never outgrew picture books

Thank you, thank you cong57!!. Like so many others I HATE THIS NEW BROWSER!! IT TOTALLY SUCKS!! AND WORST, no option to go back to the old one. But now, thanks to cong57, I have my old browser just like the way I had set it up. For those who want their old browser back do what cong 57 suggested - make http://my.yahoo.com your home page.

I can't stand the new format. All my personalized modules, etc that I have had for the past 9 years on the old homepage are now gone and I can't figure out how to get them back. (my news carrier, personalized stocks info, among many others) All they offer on the new page is of little or no interest to me.

Intrestingly enough, the Yahoo home page is similar to the iGoogle feature that Google has just scheduled for the scrap heap. I wonder why customizable portals are suddenly dieing?

How can I get my old home page back
