My comment that you are referring to was made prior to 12/31/11 when Exercise TV ceased operations. That on demand channel no longer exists. They have gone out of business.
By the way Fit TV was rebranded as Discovery Fit & Health about a year ago. Fit TV never had any on demand content on U-verse. Exercise TV, which did have on demand content on U-verse, has ceased operations.

TexasGuy27, I understand that the excercise programming ceased on in Dec. 2011, but I'm trying to find out about a particular exercise video that was 25 minutes long. The name had something to do with losing 10 pounds. (I don't remember the name and wished that I had taped it now). The lady did a variety of cardio moves that made it very interesting. If you can't find out how I can obtain this video, do you have any other suggestions that AT&T may have that are similar. Thank you.

TexasGuy37, I read your post about possibly getting the video on Itunes or Amazon, but if there is any insider info you might have on the video it would still be very much appreciated.

Texasguy37 is a subscriber to U-Verse just like you are. He is not an employee of AT&T nor does he have insider information. He has been a subscriber for a long time, and particpates on this board to help other subscribers with the information that he does have. That information is available to all of us if we care to look or understand it.
I repeat, Texasguy37 is not an employee of AT&T nor does he have insider information. He just happens to live in Texas where AT&T has it's headquarters.

Jimmy mack, I believe the video your looking for is 10 pound slimdown and the trainer was Chris Freytag. It is on Amazon along with other exercise tv trainers. The trainers also have their own websites you might want to check.

For a while we could access many free exercise programs via On Demand. Now they are no longer available. Why?

The company that produced the programming for Exercise TV on the On Demand segment of U-Verse decided to pull the programming in December. They are now only producing videos to sell. That is why there are no free exercise programs via On Demand through Excercise TV. In addition, there does not seem to be any other companies producing them for On Demand.
The fact that Excercise TV is no longer on U-Verse is NOT the fault of AT&T. It is NOT the responsibility of AT&T to create such programming. The responsibiltiy lies with television production companies.
I hope that you are not a One and Done One Post Wonder, and will come back to respond.

I swear at one point there was an Exercise Tv and/or a Fit TV that had exercise videos. Where are they? I thought they were On Demand?

ExerciseTV workouts ranged from cardio and abs to yoga, pilates and personal training.[4]
[edit] History
Launched in January 2006,[5] ExerciseTV was founded by Jake Steinfeld and created by Comcast.[6][3] ExerciseTV is currently available in the United States via Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bresnan Communications.[1] The network is managed by Comcast, with New Balance and Time Warner Cable acting as additional equity partners.
ExerciseTV is a joint venture between Comcast, Time Warner Cable, New Balance and Jake Steinfeld of Body by Jake.[7]
In an open letter on its website, ExerciseTV announced on 25 November 2011 that it will be closing its Video OnDemand channel and website on 31 December 2011, although select programming will continue to be available for purchase.[8]

Exercise TV may be gone but there are plenty of other options out there. Some are free and some have minimal subscription fees. {link removed per guidelines}

I used the exercise tv a lot and even told ATT that when I switched over from Comcast that I wouldn't switch unless they had exercise tv. Is this going to be fixed?

Look here: http://forums.att.com/t5/TV-Programming/What-happe
Exercise TV has stopped distribuiting its VOD content not just for AT&T, but for every provider. If you decide to switch back to Comcast it won't be there either.

Exercise TV On Demand was discontinued in December by the company that owned the channel. AT&T had nothing to do with Exercise TV being discontinued.
There are no other similar channels, and it is not the responsibility of AT&T to create such a channel for On Demand.

I think the video you're referring to is Chris Freytag 10 lb. Slimdown. You may be able to purchase it online.
I really enjoyed and used the Exercise videos, as well. I am not happy that they're gone!

Anyone know why AT&T Uverse removed the free health/fitness workout videos from their "Free On Demand" selection?

Exercise TV (the company that used to provide the fitness videos on U-Verse) stopped providing VOD content for all providers and there doesn't seem to be another provider stepping up to take their place.
