Dear AT&T,
Every week you send me another Uverse offer in the mail. Today, you sent a salesman to my door.
Please save yourself the trouble. When the day comes that you can offer higher speed internet than your competition at whatever price I will know and I will contact you.
In the future, if you send a representative to my doorstep, he had best be carying the lit end of a fiber optic cable.
Sincerely,
Michael {Personal content removed for your safety}

PS. It is not a good sign that this forum is the only method I could find to attempt to contact you. You're a phone company and you don't have anyone answering the phone after 5pm? For shame.

I agree with "michaelcalifornia" post. If I want service I will call AT&T. I'm still upset about the salespeople that showed up at my door at 7:00 p.m. last night. After all the double talk I finally understood they were trying to sell me on U-Verse through "smoking mirror" tactics. I do not "like" it!!!! Also there is no easy way to call AT&T to verify if these salespeople are even part of AT&T. There is no easy way to contact AT&T to complain...PERIOD.... I'm thinking about canceling the AT&T service I have now.

This must be some trend everywhere else except for metro Detroit. I've never seen anyone doing the door-to-door thing for Uverse, and my local neighborhood had some PRIME AT&T customers due to frustrations with Comcast.
I don't seem to have problems with D2D, but maybe that's because of the sign on my door ... and that there's CCTV recording 24/7, also noted very prominently on the sign. It's worked for at least 3 years. ![]()
