UVerse Speed issue starting at 7:30 pm?

Hello, I just got uverse 18Mbps today, I run few test with speedtest.net and I got between 10 to 15Mbps during the afternoon, but starting at 7:30 pm the performance started to drop like crazy now I'm at 4Mbps (as much as my old ATT DSL line), why?

can this be improve?

I can't find any email, does ATT has email support or everything needs to be handle by phone? I will much more prefer email than waiting on the phone...

Are you getting the same speeds with both wired and wireless connections?

Do you also have U-verse TV?

Which U-verse gateway do you have?

I have uverse for Internet and telephone, I do not have uverse TV

Yes this happen for on both Wired and wifi

I just got today the modem 3801HGV

Is the uverse bandwith reduce if neightbords use their Uverse TV right now or that shall not affect me?

There seems to be 2 San Francisco sites, one slow and one much better.

I tested from Jacksonville Fl to each site, and have 20 meg download speed from Comcast.

Try changing sites.

No, that would have no affect.

Can you download and install SomeJoe's tool at the link below?

Once you install the tool, please post screenshots of the following tabs: IP/Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, & Coax/HPNA.

We can take a look at the screenshots to see if there appears to be any issues with your system.

Is Uverse dependent on how the neighbord are using their Uverse? I'm asking as in the afternoon the speed was better.

The test speed is back to 11mbps on my 18mps subscription.

I still took the screenshot, but will take more next time this slow down occur

There are some strange shapes on that graph.  I think I'd call technical support and ask them to run a test on your line and see if they see anything wrong.
