I get the following error message when trying to watch "A native media player error has occured. what: 1 extra + -15"
I got an error similar to that before watching that show. I powered off the phone and turned it back on and the issue went away. I need to put an Automatic Task Killer back on my phone, I think. I lost it when my phone got wiped a few weeks back and wanted to see what life was like without it.
I figured out what the problem was, I guess either I have a low resolution screen, or that the hardware can't support the high resolution setting (Droid Eris), I remember getting a message saying something about it possibly not working on the high resolution setting, but I ignored it, after disabling the high resolution setting and downloading another video, it worked fine (though it was choppy sometimes and the quality looked like crap, yet viewable)

Give it another try. Yesterday morning I got the app installed on my Droid. I got the same errors trying to do a download. Last night I turned on Wireless to my AT&T U-Verse Internet and was able to download 3 TV shows to my phone. One has about 2 days to watch the show or loose it.
I was successfully able to download the videos, the videos would attempt to load, but then gave me that error I posted earlier (I did have that other error before saying "Thank you for your interest. Subscription cannot be completed at this time due to system issues. Please try again later", that issue resolved itself though, I believe that was the error you were thinking of)
Like I said in the reply to the quote above, I found out it was due to a resolution problem, for some reason (still unknown to me) the Droid Eris is not compatible with high resolution videos, so the error was the result to the high resolution setting being on, the first time I turned the setting off, I was still having a problem watching the videos I downloaded, it just so happened I had to delete all the videos I had downloaded (as they were downloaded with the high resolution key/flag) then redownload the shows with the setting turned off

Officially, it will never be released to anything but at&t based Droids, if you want the App for Droid X and other Verizon phones (or T-Mobile or Sprint phones too for that matter), you have to download the APK and launch the APK on an APK installer, File Manager, or from the Web browser if you download the APK directly from the Droid's browser

My download went fine and when I download videos all seems well. However, when I go to play them it just keeps saying loading and nothing happens. Tried several downloads and it they never move from saying loading. Where are they? Thanks

Is there an additional fee for watching content via the phone?
I have the U450 bundle, and Captivate with associated internet plan.
...as someone said above-- sure would be great if viewing of our own DVR's (phone and pc) were enabled...

Of course Slingbox is an option, but in my opinion place shifting would be a killer app for Uverse. Could probably command an additional fee for the technology and draw a significant amount of customers from other cable/sat providers. The THDVR was the key for me to move from Comcast to Uverse, but the competition is now getting closer to Uverse on that front. Luckily Uverse has increased their HD stream availablility. This and the impending trick play capability on all STBs are the types of improvements outside of additional channels that make the wife and I happy customers.

The latest version doesn't allow you to download shows for playback later.

Are you sure about that? That was a large part of the advertised functionality when it came out. Assuming you're subscribed to U-300 or above.

Well, I'm sure that it doesn't work with the last 2 versions. If you want that capability, you'll need to use the first version that came out.
