U-Verse availability

Is there anyway to tell when U-verse will be available at my address? I am tired of the cable company and the trees in the area block all the satellite signals. I know it is available just 100yds south of my house. Everytime I talk to customer service the rep tells me it could be tommorrow or it could be 6 months. I want HD service before football season.
