SNY HD Petition

This is a petition to AT&T to get theSNY HD. Most of the other cable companies in the northeast already offer the HD version of SNY. In addition, AT&T also offers YES HD and NESN HD. It is only fair that SNY HD is offered.

If you agree and would also like SNY HD, please sign and leave a comment below.  Also please limit yourself to one post if possible. To discuss the lack of SNY HD with others, please refer to this thread.

I keep checking this petition, I see the original message/request by Uturnaroun has been viewed 243 times!!!!!!!!!! But, only a handful of people have replied which is bizzare to me because this topic has been all over the boards for months and many different people posted on them. Please folks, if you're going to take the time to open this thread and read the responses/posts, add yourself to the list! It's not like we're asking for Noggin in HD okay, we're asking for a channel that is readily available in the largest metropolitan area in these United States, a channel that AT&T already carries in SD, a channel that every other cable company in the NY Metro area carries in HD, a channel that is the official channel of the second highest payroll team in baseball (who are now above .500 and 1/2 game out of first place btw!), a channel that is the "official" home of the New York Jets, the channel that is, in and of itself, SPORTS NEW YORK, covering all things sports in the New York Metropolitan area which happens to have the most professional sporting teams of any metro area in the US. With these simple facts in mind, why on earth wouldn't AT&T offer this channel in HD?? It's a no brainer, so if you're reading this, take 5 seconds to sign it. Thanks.

Yes SNYHD is a must.  We need it NOW!!!  We even have CSNE-HD (which never shows anything by the way) but no SNY-HD.  This farce must be stopped now.

I want SNY HD also but I could never imagine going back to Charter just for SNY. Besides AT&T has over 100 hd channels vs Charters 30+. I'm not an AT&T coolaid drinker but Charter is the worst!!!

I NEED SNY IN HD!!! I too was promised it would be offered in HD before the season started and here we are 38 games later and nothing. As I've said before, if someone would just give me a straight answer I can be patient and wait, or make the decision to leave, but it would be nice if ANYONE at AT&T knew the answer. The only consistent answer I get from AT&T is, "Have you tried rebooting the box to solve the problem??" That should be their new marketing campaign.

I know! I think the reason is, Mets fans have decided not to go the way of AT&T. Hope it changes though, SNY is not just the Mets channel, there's so much more and AT&T is missing the boat!

Here is a portion of an article that was in the Hartofrd Courant newspaper the other day that I found quite interesting....................

Dueling advertisements already have sprung from both camps, promoting Internet speed, high-definition content and wireless services only they offer.

On a billboard along I-95 in Bridgeport, AT&T says: "Only AT&T bundles voice, video, Internet and wireless. Cable doesn't."

In a television commercial, Cablevision says: "Only Cablevision has all New York sports teams in HD. The phone company doesn't."

Good ad from Cablevision and unfortunately, true. AT&T is the ONLY provider in the Tri-State area, the most populated area in the United States, with the most professional sports teams in the United States, that doesn't carry SNY in HD. YES AT&T YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT DOESN'T CARRY IT, PATHETIC, SIMPLY PATHETIC. Hopefully Cablevision's ad will light a fire underneath AT&T's ^&%$@ and they'll do what's right!

It is ridiculous that AT&T does not have SNY HD yet.  I will soon switch to Comcast if they do not get it soon.  They have had it in HD since last season.  Why keep AT&T if they don't have my favorite channel?
