Just got service in an apartment I moved into recently, elected to do the “Self Installation” and that appeared to give me a connection to the Internet with nothing more than just plugging in the new DSL modem to a phone jack in the apt and following the setup instructions in the box.
After a couple of weeks of use download speed seems real sloooooooooooow. My actual download speed does not go above 350 kB/s (wired or wireless, all different types of download websites ). My plan is the “Pro / 3 mbps”, wireless is secure no leeching neighbors. Speedtest.net measures Download Speed = 2.48 Mbps
Took a quick look in the Cable/Telephone service closet/room. There is just a standard cooper twisted pair cable (about 2 ft) that connects the trunk line that comes in from the street to the telephone punch down panel for my apartment, looks fine, no corrosion or anything out of the ordinary. The Cable service also comes into the same closet and the whole place is a mess that has had many different hands in it over the years.
Below are various UV Realtime screenshots, lots of various “failures” & “errors”. Any help would be much appreciated before calling a Tech to come out and charge me for a visit.

That plus your bitloading graph shows that you have a problem with your phone line called a "bridged tap". A bridge tap is an extra length of wire attached to your pair that doesn't terminate anywhere. It is usually left over from a previous customer that used your pair, or sometimes a previous or current extension in your residence. Bridge taps cause problems with xDSL services.
You should call technical support, have them send a premises tech to your house to check the line. He should open a helper ticket with the Installation and Maintenance group (I&M), which are the linesmen, to come find and remove the bridge tap.
