NBA LEAGUE PASS

It's absolutely ridiculous that U-verse will not carry the NBA TV and NBA TV HD channels in their Sports Package, and won't offer NBA League Pass as a premium subscription offering.

EVERY OTHER tv provider has this.  Time Warner, ComCast, FIOS, DirecTV, Dish. 

Hello?  Is anyone awake back at U-verse?  Can you read a sports package lineup???? 

I have been really interested in installing U-verse but I need to have an equivalent lineup of channels to justify the small-ish cost savings!

While on the subject of blackouts... all throughout football season, Sun Sports blacked out both the live Florida Gators games (which I understand) as well as the Saturday morning replay.  I think DirecTV might have done that as well, but I still don't understand the point.

The sports package is rather useless to me - 90% of the time that I flip to those channels, it's blacked out.  About the only thing they don't black out is fishing and poker.  Why bother?

I have heard rumors that AT&T is in negotiations with the NBA League Pass folks.
In my area (also served by Time Warner cable) I can BUY NBA League Pass for a season and view it on cable. I have done so. I would like to switch from Time Warner to AT&T U-verse because of the superior (to Time Warner) channels and packages available, and transfer my NBA League Pass. BUT I am not going to switch to U-verse at this time because I cannot even obtain NBA League Pass, let alone transfer my NBA League Pass paid subscription to U-verse.
Hey, AT&T U-verse folks!: this is one willing customer you are going to lose because I cannot (1) transfer my existing NBA League Pass subscription or (2) obtain NBA League Pass in any form from you.

Another NBA season is upcoming, and for another year U-Verse is not offering the NBA League Pass/NBA TV. Does anyone have interest in this?

I guess AT&T Uverse subscribers still do not care about premium sports programs...to my knowledge the only one Uverse offers is the super-weak ESPN college football/basketball pass.

I can not believe UVerse doesn't offer NBA League Pass...... I recently switched to Uverse about a month ago and I never once thought whether they offered it or didn't because I thought every decent television company offered it. This is absolutely retarded that they don't have it and for this alone reason after ONE MONTH of having Uverse I might already switch again. I guess it's finally time to get DirectTV.

This really came as a complete shock for me and I guess I'm the dumb one for assuming Uverse had League Pass.

I totally agree with that..I want to switch too. and the worst part about it is when you call them to find out information, the "great" customer relations folks dont know crap.  I am out of the region of where I would like to see my team play and with u-verse, it looks like it is impossible...

I live in Fayetteville, Arkansas, I would pay EXTRA for the league pass if it was offered! My girlfriend and I have had U-verse for a couple of months now and we love it, but we are both big-time NBA fans! Watching the NBA has helped our relationship AT&T, during basketball season we get along like we just met each other...hahah I dont even want to think what this cold winter will be like without any NBA GAMES to watch! I would rather go back to COX CABLE then not watch any NBA @ all...Thats terrible.....GET US SOME NBA ASPA PLEASE?????

I'll be getting the NBA League Pass online.  I had it last year and it was pretty decent and cheaper than the TV version.  This year they've added DVR controls to the games so that should make it even better.

They're full of crap! Spoke to customer service today and a lot of us have been complaining to deaf ears. Seems the suits don't want to pay extra to the NBA to retain their 2 million + customers. A lot of people have been dumping uverse because of it. It boggles my mind that it's a pay-per-view service and they won't let us pay for it! Made a huge mistake leaving satelite TV

We are moving and I heard a commercial for AT&T Uverse....sounded GREAT.....UNTIL I was 3/4 signed up for tv, internet and phone and at the last minute wanted to verify the price of NBA LP.  So disappointed.  They lost me as a customer.  No way my husband nor I will switch......and we have Brighthouse Networks......they have it. Com'on at&t get with it !!  It looks like people have been complaining long enough.  No wonder why I don't know anyone else in Indiana on at&t we are a BASKETBALL  LOVIN' state...so now I know why. Comcast fought getting Big Ten network and lost so many customers while they were "negotiating" they had to give in......but at least it only took them 3 months......you're going on 3 years.

it truly is idiotic that they don't have NBA League Pass. I'm a HUGE NBA and NFL fan and I understand why they don't have NFL Sunday Ticket but NBA League Pass? C'mon now! I signed up for U-Verse a few months ago and it didn't even OCCUR to me to ask if they had NBA League Pass. I just assumed they had it because who doesn't? Anyways, I might be leaving U-Verse in the next few weeks if they don't get League pass or the sportspackage doesn't show a decent amount of games.

I really don't get it. Get League Pass already U-Verse. I've read places that it has been three years now and still no League Pass...... knowing that I don't think you'll get for another year or two and if that's the case you def just lost another customer because of it. I wonder how many people actually leave U-Verse because of this.

I can't believe we're still having this discussion after three years or so.  I used to get League Pass every year before I switched to U-verse.  I would absolutely switch to a different provider because of this, but unfortunately U-verse is my only option for HD channels in my apartment complex.  Pisses me off.  Come on AT&T, it's pretty obvious this is causing you to lose customers.  Get it figured out already.

How crazy to not offer NBA league pass or even NBA TV.  I would be happy to pay for NBA TV, but I can't even get that.  I hate watching sports on the computer, but I guess that I need to decide if I want to do the online league pass or switch cable/internet providers.

Like everyone keeps saying its all about profits and at&t hasn't gotten the Nba willing to set them up with some contracts cause its still a newer service so until they prove that they have staying power there most likely not going to get it . Its amazing that they even have red zone or the nfl network or nhl network so it going to be a process to get were everyone wants them to be but keep in mind the other company have been at it a lot longer then at&t has been trying to do cable with out being partner with any body .

Unfortunately, signing up for the League Pass Broadband is only going to fill PART of the void as League Pass blacks out all nationally televised games...this includes all games televised on NBA TV which WE CAN'T GET on UVerse.  This is really inexcusable.  This is a deal-breaker in my book...I'm canning U-Verse as soon as my intro year is up unless I hear of some real movement on their part towards getting some NBA coverage.

size doesn't matter..verizon fios has all sports packages and they have 2.7 million subscribers compared to att's 1.8 million

 What we have to do to get NBATV, I am willing to go to another provider to get the channel. If there no solution then we have no other choice, but to leave. We got At&t three years ago, and like what we have. This is becoming a problem.

Same problem with UV concerning MLB Network. It seems as if UV is going to be a second tier service since they don't want to compete with the BIG BOYS- Comcast, DirecTV.

Would be nice to have NBA-TV and NBA league pass for this coming NBA season.  This tuesday aug 3rd, on nba tv , the NBA is going to release some of the 2010-11 NBA schedule, opening week ,christmas day games etc. It sure would be nice to watch it on u verse
