Latest in FSC+ "News" from AT&T

My brother called AT&T this evening over some billing issues and decided to ask about FSC+. The customer service rep told him that Fox has pulled FSC+ from all systems EXCEPT Direct TV, which will have exclusive broadcasting rights from now on.

I called and got the same answer.

I checked the website for FSC+ and it still lists Verizon, Direct TV, and Dish as providers, but the website hasn't been updated since April 5th. I was able to use the FSC+ locater and requested (again) that AT&T pick up FSC+. http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/fsctv/story/subscribe

Anyone else heard this?

Pay attention to that thread. Most likely, what that CSR told you was a load of baloney. Maybe they even have DirecTV and are telling you that so you can switch to that system.

Thanks for that thread -- I'll definitely keep an eye on it.

We had Comcrap before AT&T and made the switch over because of Setanta. For the most part, we've been really happy with AT&T's programming and service. It's FAR superior to Comcrap. Now, without Setanta and with no real information from AT&T about what's going on with FSC+, DirecTV is becoming a more attractive option.

FSC Plus launched on DirecTV, but it would make no financial sense at all for FOX to allow D* exclusive rights to the channel.

I have DirecTV, and I therefore enjoy both FSC and FSC Plus, but I wouldn't worry if I were you. As soon as U-verse negotiates a carriage license, they will add the channel.

WHYYYYYYYYY does ATT still not have this? ATT is such garbage. i am beyond sick of their service and take an additional year. if it is not in place by the start of next season (in august), im dumping this crap and going back to Dish

There really should be no excuse not to have FSC+ by the start of next season. As it is it is ridiculous to be so behind on having it for this season.

i am shocked that anyone waiting for FSC+ is being patient..... you must be ATT trolls. every other decent provider had FSC+ from basically the beginning. we all know its going to be a pay channel, so what is the hang up? 2 more months and DISH it is, and i have huge list of others that are going to leave as well. there is ZERO excuse for not having this channel in place. im sick of missing matches.

whew..found it. ah, hello. I request the whole Fox Soccer Channel "family" to be added to U-verse. Also thank you to AT&T for finally droppin in my hometown in mid-April. Until now all cable TV here was provided by one company, whose DVR was diabolical. Needless to say no FS+ there either. One thing we know for sure, whenever it does come on to Uverse it will still be YEArs before these local scumbags get it. Also after observing the way FSC do business it would not be absurd to suppose FSC are the cause of the delay.

I would for now, sign up for Foxchannel.tv and call up ATT's UV customer service office and let them know, that they are not getting your $14.95 a mouth for this service.

The most boring sport would be baseball bedwards. But, everyone has their opinions and I wouldnt go into a thread with someone asking for MLB because I don't care. They have the right to ask for it as customers just like we have the right to want FSC+ or FSCHD

Agreed, Somewhat, BB COULD be the most boring sport, and yes, we as customers have the right to ask, and the right to want, but does all the threatening and constant barrage of, "give me what I want or I'll leave" day after day over multiple threads do anything to help? There are numerous posts where people have stated at&t are in contract negotiations for this channel. I believe that are. Will this speed up the talk around the bargaining table? One negotiator to another, hurry up the bloggers are upset! OHHH we better hurry!!! Probably not IMHO. In this age of electronic communication, the texting generation, things are said with little regard on how they come across. The niceties are gone theses days and things are turned into threats and yelling, things that would not normally be done or said if that person was face to face. You know what I mean Vern? No civility anymore, can't we all just get along?

I could not agree with you more! Hiding anonymously on the internet allows some to be mean, cruel, nasty and say things to other users on this forum that would get them punched out if the same things were said face to face. It amazes me how much courage some display when hiding behind a computer.

Of course the threats are silly. But, you said "who cares" that is what i was responding too. People keep asking about the channels because people keep hearing different things when they call and ask about them. I use these threads to find a cumulative amount of info on the different things people are being told about the availability of the channels in the future. People who are not interested in the subject should not enter the thread was the point.

Just like I don't need to click baseball channel threads, or home shopping or whatever else I have no interest in.
