After switching to Uverse about 2 or 3 months ago from TWC i have been very disappointed in the internet speeds, specifically when using Facetime and youtube. I often use Facetime when talking to my parents in NY and letting them see my 2 month old son. the main reason i got an ipad was to FT with parents located far away.
Facetime often freezes or drops the calls, never had this issue with TWC!! On speed test i get around 7-9mbps dwld and 1.2 up (much slower than TWC was as well) WHY DID I SWITCH?! Im serioulsy considering going back soon, AT&T install was such an undertaking (2 visits of over 3 hours each to get it working right in my house). TV finally works fine, little complaints there BUT Internet is inconsistent and disappointing. i have a mix of wireless cable boxes, iphones, 1 ipad, laptop and xbox. maybe uverse cant handle all the devices and Facetime. Ive looked for solutions on-line but havent found the fix yet. Some mentions of changing DNS servers, Channel on the router etc. that doesnt work by the way.
is there anything that i can do to fix this issue with Facetime on uverse internet (wifi)? or is this a hopeless search and i should switch back to TWC internet?

"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"
