"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"

There are a couple things you can do. First unplug the ac cable from the RG for 30 seconds and tehn reconnect it. If the problem continues contact TS using the phone number in my signature. Let the CSR know what is going on with your service and ask them to run a test for errors. When they see them request a tech be sent out to check your installation.

There could be other sources of inside or outside interference. Is there some piece of equipment (treadmill, furnace, etc.) that comes on inside your house during this interval?
It could be something on the wiring outside your house... condensation on the lines during the coldest part of the night.
Do you have an 2WIRE 3600 or some other model Residential Gateway (RG, often called the modem)?

Possible that it's on a timer used for turning lights on / off?
The RG must be left on, it channels all of the services (TV, Phone, Internet).
