If I order TV Japan for a month to check out if the channel would be important to me, will I have to pay for a month? Is there a trial option to check if I'd like the channel or not?

Yes you have to pay for the month of having the programming.

This is the only channel my wife watches. If you speak Japanese it is well worth $25.
