How can I see how many simultaneious HD streams I can get?
Check your video profiles: MENU > Options > System Options > System information > Resources
What information is shown for Streams and Egress Profile?

Not sure if me posting can be of any assistance, but I have the same listed in my System Resources page. 4SD/3HD. I only have 1 DVR box and one remote box.
Live in Raleigh, NC. iNID located outside. Pair bonding installation I believe.
If there's anything I can post that will help let me know. My Fiance is watching her show right now, when she's done I'll load up the receivers as best as possible, but don't know how I'll be able to do that with only 1 remove box (is STB just the terminology for a non-DVR box, or is the DVR box itself also considered a STB?)
Cisco boxes (1 DVR 1 Wired Remote)
STBs are wired of Coax
CAT5 from iNID to indoor gateway
Here's some screenshots:

With only one other STB this is the best I can do to get more than 4 streams...

Didn't think to do more than one SD....
6/7 streams no issues. Once I hit 7/7 both TVs started stuttering HORRIBLY. That's 3HD streams and 4 SD streams. 3HD and 3SD streams were no problem.

This is with all 7 streams going. Not enough bandwidth....

Video quality with 7/7 streams.

Is this an issue of having the wrong profile assigned? I'm still not sure what the profile is or what it means. I'm guessing it's the speed at which the iNID router speaks with the VRAD, not an actual indicator of my internet speed. I'm guessing that's throttled somewhere... VRAD or Router. No idea.
Anything I can do to fix that? Being bumped to the next highest profile?

Yes. According to the IP/Profile screenshot, you are on the 25/2 line profile. To support the 4 SD/ 3 HD video profile, they should have placed you on the 32/5 line profile. I would suggest that you call Technical Support at the number shown in my signature.

Thank you Texas Guy!
What exactly should I tell them/ask? It seems every time I call I get an over seas Indian support person... and they are utterly clueless, so I want to try and explain things in the proper terminology, so there is no back and forth "troubleshooting" or questions.
Is this just a software change, or do they have to send a tech out?
Not too excited with ATT support so far...
Example: The installer forgot to install the 12V lead acid battery in my power supply. I spoke with tech support for 30 minutes, trying to tell them there's no battery. "We see it on our side" Really? The router page says NO BATTERY DETECTED. Pretty hard to miss a 3lb lead acid battery... Especially when I have the service panel off the power supply, and there's a HUGE GAPING HOLE there, with nothing inside. Finally after calling back 3 times I got somebody who just said "Ok, no problem, will UPS you one". Been a week still no battery so who knows, maybe he was blowing smoke up my {word filter evasion}

No tech visit is required. The change can be done remotely.
The line profile that you should be on is the 32 Mbs profile. I believe that U-verse refers to it as UvClass 11.

You should be able to connect a PC to the U-verse gateway with an Ethernet cable in order to use the Uverse Realtime tool to read information from the gateway.

Well I called customer support yesterday. Their remote tests said I couldn't get on the 32/5 profile, but they'll send a tech out.
Tech came out. Cool guy. Had never heard of/seen 7 streams at a time. Showed him UV Realtime with 6 streams going (no video cut outs) then with 7 video exceeded 25mbps so obviously it cut out.
He ran a line check, said even though I was about 3K ft from the box the line was still good since I had pair bonding. He said it should handle it OK, but that it was "an extra cost." Said it would probably be another $15 or $20 a month.
That didn't sound right. So I said "You mean the PROFILE will cost more? I'm not looking for extra "internet" speed, just want the higher profile so my system can run the way it's capable of."
He said he could put the order in, and have Tier 2 call me, but it was going to be an extra cost.
Does this sound right, or is it something Alex might be able to assist me with? I don't want to PM me without the "good graces" of some body here to justify it.
Thank you very much for the help thus far Texas Guy.

There should be no extra cost for a higher profile. There would be a higher cost only for a higher HSI plan.

The tech gave you wrong information. There is no extra charge for being on the 32/5 line profile versus the 25/2 line profile. Let us know if Tier 2 contacts you.

I'm sure that Tier 2 knows that there is no extra charge for being on the 32/5 profile. The tech was mistaken.
So no upgrade to the 32/5 profile has been requested?

Just got off the phone with them.
He was unable to change the profile. States that I'm too far from the VRAD. I asked what he shows as the physical distance, and his test calculates 3500-3600ft loop length from the VRAD. I guess UV real time is a bit off in those estimates.
What I don't understand is if I'm eligible for the 12mbps internet option, how they could pull off the advertied 4 streams at a time plus the 12mb internet? I only have the 6mbps internet plan, so if anything the extra 7mb between the 32/5 and the 25/2 would have been used for the 12mb internet anyways... unless they would sell you that service, and you would only get anywhere near the advertised 12mbps, providing you are only streaming two HD channels at once. More than two and your internet would drop down substancially.
If it will help, here's my screenshots for aggregate, line 1, line 2. My bitloading is a few posts above.

Something has changed and you are not aware of it. See the thread below:

But, if they refuse to put someone on 32/5 and instead force 25/2, the IPTV profile should not be assigned as 4SD/3HD. They should be assigned the standard iNID IPTV profile of 1SD/3HD to avoid complete picture breakups when 6-7 streams are tuned.

I don't understand what the upload speed has to do with it? The IPTV streams aren't really "uploading" anthing from the iNID to ATT.
Even if the provile is changed to 32/5 but the upload isn't up to the task how would this be an issue? My internet plan is only the 6/1 so it's throttled to 1mbps anyways.
I'm sure it's just a case of me not understanding fully what the profile change is. If it's changing the frequencies at which the iNID speaks with the VRAD then I can understand it. If it's just a "throttle" set by the software then it shouldn't be an issue. Nothing in the "system" at home is going to try and upload at 5mbps anyways.
