FOX HD gone!!

Hey guys, i've been trying to do some reseach on this and cannot really find an answer.

Since sunday, during the cleveland show, the HD on fox was cutting in and out, then finally stayed out. It would go from full screen to black side bars on the top and bottom of the screen. This has been the case for house, and fringe (main shows on fox i watch).

Last night during fringe, the picture was no where near HD, black bars on the sides and top, and sound was stereo, not even 5.1

I called uverse and they said there were looking into it, but i read that fox was dropping HD in some areas. Im just trying to find out the truth with this. Also, channel 6 and 1006 both had the same picture quality and sound. All my other HD stations look beautiful, it just seems to be an issue with fox!

Fox is dropping HD in some areas? Where did you hear that fantasy, people won't watch SD if it

used to be HD, the shows just aren't that good. Call your local FOX affiliate and complain loudly

and find out if they aren't going to continue w/HD or what is really happening.

You'll need to contact customer support. This sounds like a signal delivery issue from your local station. Not sure where you're located as you mention ch. 6 as the FOX affiliate. Customer support can open an outage ticket and they'll reach out to the local station to find out what is going on.

Call your local Fox affiliate as it may be a screw up on Uverse like the TWC screwup from last May.

Where do you live? The article on the link refers to NJ and I know that UV is not in NJ .. what is the big city (near) or market area you live in?

Im in CT, Hartford county. I know that said NJ, but im just trying to correlate my issue to others, Uverse Tier 2 is working on it, but i'd like to have some background info if i could.

Instead they are going to yell and complain to U-Verse, because they will think it is U-verse fault, when it's FOX fault. Then we will have 133 posts on this forum about why U-verse sucks so bad, because they don't have FOX HD anymore, because people don't know how to use the search feature.

Wow, lot of people will be mad when trying to watch football in HD.
