I've had some issues over the last few days with the channel guide not showing channel information - just the "gathering information" message. Is this a known problem? If so, what is the fix?

This is the U-verse customer forum. Those responding to your questions in this thread are other U-verse customers not AT&T employees. As customers, we don't have any insight on what areas or which customers were effected by this week's outage.
As far the issue that you are having, try unplugging your U-verse receiver for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. After the reboot is complete, check your Guide information again.
