Just noticed that I have 4HD now here in San Antonio. I had not checked in a while, so I do not know when it showed up.
I am an AT&T employee and the postings on this site are my own and don't necessarily represent AT&T's position, strategies or opinion.

menu>options>system options>system information session time from the 4HD downloaded because a soft reboot was required. I actually saw the message about it, that I could cancel it w/in 30 seconds, otherwise it would download. ![]()

I was watching tv here in Detroit at 2:30am dst this morning. Got a pop up that said my service was updated to the 0sd/4hd profile. The options were restart sytem later, or restart system now. I'll do it later when I get hdtv and the hd service.![]()

Over the weekend, it looks like my system updated to the 0 SD / 4 HD WAN profile. Hooray!! Now if we can get that Ingress on 0 SD / 4 HD, I would be estatic. I live in the Cleveland area Uverse deployment.
In my System resources screen, I now see:
WAN Profile: 0 SD / 4 HD; Max Bandwidth: 3194200
Ingress Profile: 1 SD / 3 HD; Max Bandwidth: 269060400
Egress Profile: 18973600, 1 SD / 2 HD

Same here in Dublin (just a little north), got a message on the TV saying it was rebooting for the 0/4 update
I would really love to see a 0/4 Ingress Profile, but I guess a 0/4 WAN Profile is good enough right now, keeps me from being kicked off HD

I havnt had any conflicts that I have noticed since 1/3 profile so I think I would rather they move on and start concentrating on other things like maybe the fast motion blur or the newer media room features.

Received the upgrade to my WAN profile to 0SD/4HD yesterday.
I'm in the Atlanta metro area. I had earlier (about a month ago) received the upgrade to my Ingress profile to 1SD/3HD.

I got the upgrade to my WAN profile to 0SD/4HD yesterday around 2:00 AM here in Jackson, Mississippi. I already had the Ingress profile of 1SD/3HD since day one.

You will not see your line profile (i.e. 32/5, 25/2 or 19/2) from your TV. You can see your line profile in your RG using the link below. The line profile is shown in the DSL Details section as "User Rate".

Greetings,
I have gotten to the point that i have been rebooting my DVR about once a week to see if there were any updates that were not showing up. So, Sunday evening i rebooted my DVR and after it same up i went to check the HD stream status. Before i was showing on WAN 3 HD and Ingress was the same. Now i am showing 4 HD on WAN and the Ingress is the same that it was before. From what i understand that means that i can record 3 HD channels and watch a 4th one on another TV. Is that correct.
Chuck

Okay...I'm having trouble getting the 4HD profile and wanted some input from the experts here since ATT tech support seems to be lacking.
I am somewhere between 200 and 400 feet from the VRAD and am on the 32/5 profile. My max user rate currently shows to be about 58Mbps but I have seen it as high as 61Mbps. Currently, I am receiving 3HD/1SD channels.
I have called multiple people at ATT including tech support (useless), Sales (who sent me back to tech support), and finally a tier 2 tech support agent. No one can seem to get me on the 4HD profile. They all say that i am already receiving the 4HD profile, but my DVR and STB both still show 3HD/1SD in the system information. I have rebooted and reset my Gateway multiple times and rebooted both the DVR and STB multiple times. Still no change. If I try to watch a 4th HD channel on the STB while the DVR is recording, I get the "all HD streams in use" message.
Tech support keeps running me around saying I need to talk to sales so they can (upgrade my bandwidth), and sales who says I'm already on the 4HD profile and send me back to tech support. Finally, I talked to a tier 2 guy who said that he had to put some order through on my acct to force the profile change through their system so it would take effect. That didn't work either. Finally, he gave up and scheduled an onsite tech visit. However, I don't hold out much hope since all a tech will do is confirm the problem and possibly start throwing replacement equipment at me - which i don't like since I don't want to lose my DVR recordings, and certainly don't want to have to reset all my scheduled series.
Anyway, has anyone here seen anything like this? I read through the entire thread and didn't see anything exactly like this.
Thanks,
Jeff

Click the tab in my signature below that says AT&T Links, and on that signature panel there is a link that says AT&T Social Media Support Team. This will take you to a page with contact information for David and Matt, who are tier 2 specialists. Follow the directions there to e-mail them, they will get to the bottom of the problem.

You won't have to reschedule recording with a new STB. The scheduling is stored on remote servers at the account level.
Though, you most likely don't need a new DVR anyway ... unless you have a small hard drive
.

That did it. I got an email about them making some changes and told me to try rebooting the DVR and STB's again. Did so and now shows WAN as 4HD... WOO HOO!!.
Thanks,
Jeff

You do not need to change your internet package in order to upgrade to the 32/5 profile in order to receive 4 HD streams. Call Technical Support and see if you can be upgraded.

And if they tell you something that seems strange or just plain stupid. Call back and talk to another csr.
