When composing an email the drop down menu on "to" box of my email won't go away after I have chosen and clicked on my contact. It stays on my page even after I have sent my email.
Using Windows 7

Same here. I Click on my To box, and start typing the name, the list of names that starts with the first letter appears, and as I type the name I want rises to the top, and I can click on it to enter it. But the full list of names doesn't go away. It stays on the screen, and I cannot finish my email. So now I do my my attachment, fill in my body, add my subject line, then add my "To" addressee. Then I have to signout, and sign back in to get a clean screen. Very frustrating, cannot find any help.

I just got off phone with AT&T and I had to reset my default settings in Internet Options and it worked. I had this problem after switching from XP to Windows 7 which affected both Firefox and Explorer.
Go to Internet Option
click on General Tab
Under Browsing History, click on Delete button. Another box pops up. Make sure all are checked off and then click Delete.
then click on Advanced Tab
click on Restore Advanced Setting
click on Reset

the instructions i wrote previously is for Explorer. You will have to do the same with Firebox by going to the Troubleshooting tab and "reset."
