I recently tried to access my bellsouth.net email that I've had for over 10 years and receive an error message indicating my account is inactive and it is impossib le to reach anyone that can help - has anyone else had this issue. To make matters worse people are receiving spam emails from me that I have not sent...

It seems someone has gained access into your email account. Since your email is sending out spam the system will automatically deactivate the account to protect you and your contacts. I have included some information below that should help.
