The new att.net beta format is lacking significantly with regard to the amount of information displayed on the front page. In comparison the current non-beta format that I've painstakingly constructed shows significantly more information simultaneously and has a much greater degree of functionality than the beta format. The att.net beta format appears to have been modeled for tablet use. It's format is inappropriate for viewing on a wide-screen pc monitor. There is much too much blank space that could have effectively been utilized to display much more information. jroack

It seems the new beta att.yahoo.com is in the IE10 Metro style. Likely in preparation for the Windows 8 release later this year.
So far, I think it is great looking, Would like some customization options, but not sure that is possible with IE 10. I don't believe the mobile version is ready, right? If what comes up on my phone now is the final, it needs much work to be usable.

I love the look of the new layout. The big, bright icons make it easy to find what I need. Navigation is a snap and I'm delighted that I can quickly view my ATT account, email, news, and more, from one set of easy-to-find icons.
The photo-viewer format is gorgeous as well.
It would be nice if the page were more configurable but, considering how attractive and serviceable it currently is, I'm not sure I'd change much anyway. Good job!

This newly formatted front page (home page) is awful and I didn't ask for it. Can I go back to what I had? If not, how do I put the stock, weather, local and national news sections on that home page. Or do I need to find some other home page or internet service??

CJniland, and Claudia47, I SERIOUSLY have to wonder if you work for AT&T. The new format is NOT pretty, and certainly not EASY to use. The old format was customizable, and much easier to use. If this is the direction Windows is headed in, and the format that they plan to use, they need to go back to the drawing board. I use Windows 7 and love it, but I HATE IE9, and refuse to use it, so I doubt I'll switch to IE10, either.
New does not mean better.
And as somene else mentioned, if you have a widescreen monitor, there is a ton of wasted space to each side of the monitor.
AT&T, you need to go back to the drawing board on this mess up! Give us our old home pages back!
Oh, and btw, AT&T Alex, I notice that you've only chosen to respond to the ONLY TWO people who had something positive to say about the new home page. That to me, speaks VOLUMES about your company. Are you going to send the PAGES UPON PAGES of COMPLAINTS that you've gotten in the past TWELVE hours to your development team, as well, or only the few, select positive comments?
