att dsl keeps dropping

Hello,

  I have AT&T high speed internet, 3 megabyte plan (300 kb download) , I have had it for 2 years along with the problem I am currently having,The DSL light keeps going from green to red non-stop I called ATT and they said nothing was wrong,then I asked for a technician to come to my house and he also said there was no problem when there obviously was,and this gets very irritating because I play online a lot and the internet keeps turning off,and now I do not know what to do,The router I currently have is the 2wire 2701hg-b.Can any one help me out with these please I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to hear about your connection problems.

So what your saying, is a tech came to your home, and watched the light go from green to red several times, and told you nothings was wrong? Did they do anything, like change any filters or run a new dedicated line for the modem/gateway?

yes you are correct and he  did those tests and still never did anything i am very upset with my service.please help me

Two questions:

Did you, or the AT&T technician, do a full reset of the system? (The big box outside runs Windows, so you need to kick it in the boot every now and then.)

Is your service internet only, or also phone and TV? If it is more than internet, does everything else drop out when the internet does?

Well, I would suggest you send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you within a couple days to help you get a resolution to your problems.
