Yahoo is blocking me from sending email

Last night my computer was hacked or compromised somehow and sent a bunch of emails "Hey, this reminds me of you" in the subject line.  So I deleted my contacts, changed my password, and am running a complete scan, which at 2 hrs 34 minutes has not found anything (Malwarebytes full scan). 

When I try to email using the Yahoo Att email, I get the following message. When I click on the link in the message, it goes to a page that has been moved as it has no info other than a link to Communities.  What do I need to do to remove this block?  I looked at the options and checked the sig and blocked emails.

     I have included two links below that should help you out. The first is steps to take if your email has been compromised and it seems yours has. If following that literature gives you no help and your still unable to proceed please use the second link to send a private message to our ATTCustomer care team. Please include your name, a working email address that you can send and receive from, phone number and the best time you cane be reached. Please allow up to 48 hours for a member to contact you.

Having same problem and it seems like it is "news" to the tech support staff. The EVENT LOG is 318558 describing this problem. The resolutions remain the same route described above, but user is to refrain from any attempted SEND activity for up to 48 hours. Tech support is to check with me by Wed 2/6 if resolved. Not a very clean process.

I have the same problem which started this morning 2/4/13.  I reviewed all of the recommended steps and found no problems with my account settings.

I am receiving emails OK.  My wife's sub account is unaffected.

I have sent a private message.

A followup to my previous email to possibly help with troubleshooting this issue.

While I cannot send emails from my ATT webmail, I can send email messages from my Thunderbird email client.  This is also true with my wife's ATT email sub account but unlike me can send emails from her ATT webmail account.

This is just a temporary work around as I only have Thunderbird installed on my home desktop. 

Finally, we are in the process of migrating our programs and files to Win7 OS - any relation to that?

it says my account has suspicious activity-I cannot send emails from yahoo, but can receive/read.  Help button goes to att.com where NOBODY has been able to help me!  HELP!

I ma having the same issue with my att email and all my sub accounts - is it time to drop att email / and yahoo and just go with gmail or other email account?  4 hours online help with ATT - but to no avail still have the problem.  Too bad for att if they can't rememdy this, they will lose lots of customers for it.
