IOS 6.1 broke my VPN on my pad and IPhones

My VPN connection quit working when apple pushed out the 6.1 update. VPN broke when the update was released and stayed broken after the update. Any solutions

You may want to check support.apple.com. What exactly is the issue, and error message that you are getting, when you try to make a VPN connection?

Has anyone resolved this issue.. I am getting ready to restore the Ipad to see if that makes a difference.

You are pretty much just responding to yourself, and never answered the questions I asked.  No one can help to resolve, without the info on the error message you are getting, and if you ever went over to support.apple.com to see if they have any info, or even contact Apple support itself.  Also, it could just be a issue with the VPN connection on the other side, nothing possibly to do with iOS 6.1 at all.

The error message is " The VPN Server did not respond"

I have talked to Apple Support and they suggested to restore my Ipad to factory settings.. did that and nothing changed.

Netgear feels it is on the IOS side as they have had multiple calls and mentioned that Apple is rushing out an update for LTE.. That is all I know at present.. My issue is exactly like the one described above where when the IOS 6.1 was pushed out my VPN stopped working and when I installed the update it still didnt work.

I would say then it is a issue with the Netgear device. What router are you trying to connect to, that is doing the VPN?

Srxn3205 - my question is it was working fine and then stopped when the update came out. Nothing changed on the netgear side..

If you go through the Netgear forums, you will find a large amount of posts, that their gear does not play nice with Apple iOS, regardless which version. I would address it with Netgear, since it is their gear you are having issues with.

I see that you are already posting over at http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?s=c6382884158ac094c79248ae79470e6d&t=82823  and that is only going to be your best bet, since it is a equipment specific forum with the Netgear equipment.

Fixed, after reconfiguring my router to very different settings for my mode config and Ike , it started working. Hopefully it will continue to work. If you follow these instructions which did not work previously then you will be fixed. Remember to add a IPSec VPN user and to include the domain on the client when logging in.
