I am unable to view sent emails in that folder

I am unable to view emails that I have sent in the "sent" folder. Is this due to some setting? How can I correct this problem?

What program, is this being done through the mail portal on att.yahoo.com? Cannot tell you why you cannot see the sent items, unless you provide more information.
