changed back to a 200 text msg plan

ok so i had unlimited texting but then my brother decided to cancel it so now im back to only 200 texts...and its horrible =[

but anyways, when he told me it was a week (maybe two?) ago and i swear he said i had until the end of the month (well, the "cycle" or whatever, which for us is on the 25th) so i kept on texting like normal and he calls me yesterday and tells me that we havent had unlimted texting  for awhile and so now im like losing it and i checked on the att site and it says

Used 182 of 60 (text messages)

so i dont know how it is out of 60 since i thought there was only a 200/1500/unlmited texting plan but i was just wondering if anyone knew how much i would be getting charged for the 122 that i unknowingly went over?

It would be of 60 if the site updated already and they gave a prorated amount.  Basically the fraction of the month that's remaining and then they do that same fraction of the 200 messages.  In this case, there was only about 1/3 of the month left, so you only get about 1/3 of the 200.

I went over my messages and it was 10 cents  a message----i thought it was going to be a whole lot more.  If it is the same for all, then that is not too bad....

182-60 = 122.

122 x 0.10 = $12.20 (whay you owe)

You sould offer to pay your brother for unlimited messaging, which is $20 for an indivual line.

AT&T also has a $15/1500 msg plan.

Why don't you just pay your brother to add a texting plan onto your line?

well we had it as a family plan, and it was four people on the plan and my sister's brother in law paid 15, my brother paid 5, and my sister-in-law paid 5, and i paid 5 as well, so it was like i was getting unlimited for 5 dollars. and i do wish i had unlimted back, but im only 16 and have no job and so the only thing my mom will give to my brother is 5 dollars for texting and that'll only get me 200 =[
