With a LTE device, throttling is supposed to be at 5GB, and it should reset with your billing cycle.

If you dial *3282# you'll receive a text message showing your usage and when your billing cycle starts.

Does it not seem odd that you must watch your data usage on your unlimited plan because it now has the same limits as other data plans? Here's a tip if you switch over to the regular 3 gig plan you will never be throttled, just charged extra because somehow that extra 10 dollars per gig makes the network congestion go away.
doesnt make the network congestion go away - it just shifts the control of data usage from the carrier to the end user, where all things are controlled by personal responsibility.
I made a deal with my daughter when she wanted a smartphone - I pay for the base 3GB plan, any overages comes out of her allowance - funny how losing every penny of her allowance for 5 months made her realize that it was her personal responsibility to keep track of her data usage. She badly exceeded the 3GB cap on the first bill that was not pro-rated after she had her phone - same thing, she throttles her own usage during the month rather then me doing it.
