On the bill statements, it will include the to/from information on every text message sent and received.
Say my number is 987-654-3210, and I'm texting back and forth to 012-345-6789. It would appear like this on the bill (first one is received on my phone from my friend) (second is a text message that I sent to that number):
As for the messages coming in every minute or so for hours, I suspect that it has something to do with Visual Voicemail (VV); since VV uses the texting service to show you the information that you see on VV.
I suspect that there may be an issue with it not being setup correctly, or not setup at all.
So either completely remove the VV feature, re-set it up, or ignore all of the excessive texts on the bill.
