Receive text on a Mac with Option Quiksilver

How can I receive text messages on my Mac running OS X 10.5 Leopard with my Option Quicksilver usb card? In windows you have a button to check your texts, but not on Macintosh. Anyone?

I ended up installing the windows globe trotter connect through parallels running windows xp. It was a little clunky but I retrieved my text messages. Thanks to everyone who offered help.

Unfortunately, there is no cellular based way of sending SMS on a Mac through one of the available clients.  There are several widgets you can use to do it but they are send only.  Also, if you're really brave you can go over to 3GPP and find the AT commands needed to send an SMS through terminal.

Maybe this will help. If you have a gmail account you can now send sms via gmail. Tyr this link for more information or just google it.
