Data plan on a smartphone

I have recently got in the family plan . I got in without paying for the Data plan when i got a new phone non smartphone and just switched the sim card to my other phone which is a smartphone. After 2 weeks they sent me a message saying they are going to start charging me data plan. Is it possible to switch the sim card back to the non smartphone and not have to pay for the data plan . It is really such a waste of money having to pay for the data plan.

Yes, you can switch the SIM back to the non smartphone but I would suggest that you contact Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500 and make them aware of it so they can remove your data plan.
