AT&T Elevate 4G wifi hotspot won't turn on

Hello, so my Elevate 4G device just stopped working today. It won't power on at all, and yes it is plugged in. I am going to be taking it back and getting a new device, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, and if there was a way to get it to work without having to replace it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Same thing happend to my Elevate. Did you go to the AT&T store? If so, what did they tell you?

Go to settings, wireless & networks, mobile networks, access point names and add a new APN using your service provider's internet settings and click save. Now activate the newly created APN by checking its box. Now restart your phone and turn on the portable wifi hotspot. It worked for me on my at&t fusion and I'm sure it'll work for you as well.
