I am trying to connect a NETGEAR WN3000RP WiFi Range Extender to Extend ATT / Mototola NVG510 Router

The Netgear instructions are simple.

1. Plug and turn on range extender while in same room as the router.

2. Press the WPS button on the side of the extender

3. Within two minutes press the WPS button on the NVG510 router or access point.

The WPS LEDon the extender should turn solid green.

Problem.  Can't find the WPS button on the NVG Router. There is only a reset button.

What do I do?  Please help.  need to extend router's range around a hallway corner . . .:-(

Hi @Becky0511

Not all routers have a WPS button, mine doesn't also and it's a Netgear. I have the same Netgear extender and I know there is another connection method explained in the quick start guide, when you navigate to a special page from your computer and set it up from there. It should be in your manual, give it a try.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

Dmitriy
