Im trying to use the usb port but my computer does not recognise it

If you are still running Windows XP on that computer, you will need to install a driver for the Liberate which should be part of the MiFi Navigator software that should have been included in the package.

As well, you will have to go into the "Settings" menu on the Liberate, and scroll down to the "USB Mode" menu and change it to "Tethering over USB".

Im not using the HP to message you Im using my laptop, and there was no software that came with the liberate, it was per programmed, where can I get the software?

Sorry for the delay.

I've not been able to locate a driver for you. Some have suggested the driver is in the Liberate it self and that you would need to connect wirelessly first. You might be able to find, and download the driver to your laptop first, then copy it to your HP 750n using a thumb drive or memory card.

I'm assuming your trying to use the USB because your HP 750n does not have a wireless adapter? You can obtain wireless adapters online for as little as $20.

You might get some help from Novatel, who is the manufacturer of the Liberate.
