-- WiFi worked FINE for past 6 months. I was able to upload videos with cellphone and use my tablet right up until 3 weeks ago. Now it's only on intermittently (RARE connection, doesn't last). I've unplugged the wifi box up to 12 hours and restarted it, nothing's new. I've wiped it out of the memory and reinstalled (on the cell and tab) - no avail. If I cannot use my devices on wifi with ATT then I'll leave ATT. No big deal really, but darn it, why should I have to?

What is the model number of your modem/gateway?
What type of devices do you have connecting to the modem/gateway, and do all of your devices connect wirelessly?
If the wireless is failing on the modem/gateway (hardware failure), you might be able to get it replaced free of charge, depending on what service you get from AT&T and/or how old the modem/gateway is.
If your wireless woes are caused by interference or an increase in wireless traffic/networks in your area, there's nothing any provider can do about that. You should be able to determine if this is true and what you can do to help alleviate the problem by reading this thread. http://forums.att.com/t5/Features-and-How-To/How-t

What type of devices do you have connecting to the modem/gateway, and do all of your devices connect wirelessly? My cell and my tablet are the two things that stopped working. I have two laptops and a printer that are still working fine. Yes, everything is wireless

It's maybe 3 or 4 months old. Already had techs out here once for the t.v. freezing (DVR) and that's when they replaced the modem and re did some wiring, saying the initial installer messed up. Would the hardware fail just these two devices and remain fine for the others?? Everything, absolutely everything in this house is less than 1 year old so it's all the latest (well, we all know it's outdated the moment it's bought) . Posting videos from my cell is an essential part of my business. I rehab exotic birds; vets and other avian behavioral students, scientists, etc are following along with the visuals and learning my techniques. No videos, no business.

Mine wireless quit yesterday - cannot connect to either XP or Win7 laptop [hard connection to desktop works fine]
B90-755025-15 - Versalink modem/router.
Curious - I got this 6 months ago as well -

What gives - are they programmed to blow up after six months of payments?

[where's edit in this forum] - I meant 'My' not 'Mine' in my prior post.
BTW - I cannot connect my phone to wifi either - even though it shows on list of available networks.
It will not connect no matter where I am close to the router or in another room.
I took my Win7 laptop right to the router and it will get 5 bars and will connect - not all the time.
But it will drop out after a minute - and sometimes I can reconnect and sometimes I cannot.
Also, if I move about 10 feet in same room it drops out as well.
It can 'see' other networks in houses around me - number and strength varies each time the list is refreshed.
