I have a Att USB connect Momentum 4G (313u) connected to Cradlepoint mbr95, my problem is: I connect my dvr that uses uPNP, I forward in the router the correct port, have upnp on, and there's no way to communicate from outside to the dvr.  I read in other forum there's a problem with the ATT momentum modem, that is behind a nat, and have a private IP, not a public IP in the ATT modem. I use the public IP to connect to my dvr, and nothing.

Suggestions ?

If you would like to be able to access your DVR remotely from the Internet, it is necessary for you to be getting a publicly routable Internet IP address (typically as a static IP address) from AT&T. If you are instead receiving a private non-routable IP address (typically beginning with 10.x.x.x) you will be unable to connect remotely.

A quick way to check whether you have a publicly routable Internet IP address would be to log into the CradlePoint's admin console (at http://192.168.0.1 by default), then go to "Status" -> "Dashboard". Under "Internet", make note of the "IP Address" shown. This is the CradlePoint's "WAN IP address" received from AT&T.

Once you have verified your WAN IP, next surf to a website like http://www.whatismyip.com to find which IP address that the Internet "sees" you as using. If this is a different address than the CradlePoint's WAN IP address, then you (and probably hundreds of other customers) are actually receiving private non-routable addresses from AT&T's NAT router, which is the device that is actually connecting to the Internet. Any unsolicited connection from the Internet will not be able to navigate past the NAT router to get to a specifc private IP.

When you have a publicly routable IP address the CradlePoint's WAN IP will be the same IP as seen at http://www.whatismyip.com. Having a publicly routable address would allow a unsolicited connection from the Internet to navigate through AT&T's network and reach the CradlePoint itself (or any device it is port forwarding to).

Thank you for the response, you are correct, I'm receiving a private ip, not the public ip in the router... the question is where I can find a solution ? I call Att customer service and explain my problem, the operator "stays in the air with a solution"

You should be able to contact AT&T's customer service and have the provisioning for that modem changed to instead use a static IP address.  After AT&T makes that change you wll be able to remotely administer the router (if enabled) as well as use that connection to access devices behind the router (via port forwarding).

Unfortunately the service from Att as the internet connection is whether the computer can not connect to any Internet site, as to communicate to the computer from the internet without any support or training for it. Ask If there was another department in which I could help and the reply was "sorry to say that this is the only tech support department"

I have exactly the same setup.
What I was told is that I need an i2gold option added to my AT&T account. The i2gold is a static ip.
Seems simple enough right? Wrong. I've spent two and a half hours on the phone with AT&T trying to get this option added to my aircard.
It seems the i2gold option is not available to individuals. Only business accounts.

For me the whole point of the camera was to view it remotely.
