Data Charges for public WiFi

Will I incur data usage charges when connecting to a public WiFi at school or library, etc/

Unless the operator of the wifi hotspot charges for their use, you do not use cellular data.

 

Good rule of thumb is that if you can access a wifi network, use it.  It keeps your data usage down and the speed should be faster.
