"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"

Same thing happens with Apple & Google in their stores. It comes down to licensing, and compatibility. Until either the writers of the apps are able to get the three to okay them, when they roll the new version out, is usually only then, that you see the app available for download through their stores.

No, it does not. You are referring to the U-verse Live TV App not the U-verse Mobile App. The U-verse Live TV App is a wireless product, not a U-verse product, and it does not require the wireless customer to subscriber to U-verse services. Please see your previous thread on this same topic where this was explained to you:

The solution to that is to get a Slingbox, granted it's $15 for the app, but you only have to pay once and you can watch your own tv as well as manager your DVR.
