ifone 3gs camera function

I just lost my camera function. when I tap camera icon get a blank screen. HELP!!!

I would first do a hard reset of the phone. Hold down the power button and home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo. It could take up to 10 seconds for the logo to appear. Let the phone reboot and then check your camera.

You might also try copying off the photos in your camera roll.
