Can I view my son's internet browsing history after he's deleted it from his iPhone 4? Does my WiFi carrier log internet sites visited? What if he is in 3G mode while he is browsing? Does AT&T log internet history? Finally, is it possible to get a copy of internet history from a phone after the history has been deleted?

unfortunately I am not aware of any options except for restoring a backup created during a sync. Even then you would have to get lucky.
What you can do going forward is set your home wifi router to use a free service such as openDNS that allows you to record the history. If you set the DNS on the router any device on that network would use OpenDNS to resolve addresses. Keep in mind that he could bypass that by turning off wifi and go to cellular data. If you do not say anything about changing the DNS, he may not realize what is happening?
Good Luck!

Thanks for the recommendation -- that looks like a great service for the home network! So, if he's out and about on the 3G (or a network outside our home), there's not much we can do, but we could track sites he's visiting at home. Good to know -- thanks for your advice, professor!
