iPhone 5 order (November)

I ordered an two iPhone 5's in store on November the 5th.

The orders status the day of was "backordered"

Now I see that the status has changed and the backordered number has gone!

I was just wondering since I am ordering so late, when do you think I will get the iPhones?

So lucky! I ordered mine (16gb white) over the phone 11/4 around 4pm and just got all the information for it today, and I was told by an AT&T rep that it was expected to be delivered 11/27, so I'm just hoping for anything before that!

I ordered mine 11/3 and it came off Backorder at around 11:30 AM today. Currently "Processing" so hopefully we'll all be seeing our pretty new toys soon.

I ordered my 32gb white on 11/3. Currently it is still on backorder but they seem to be moving fast. Hopefully we will get them sent out by Friday. Can't wait for my FIRST iphone!

I post this in the October orders. But I ordered mine on 11/1, the day I could upgrade my phone, it came off backorder yesterday: 11/7 and it is processing. Now only wait for status update.

Mine also! Ordered 11/3.    Some people who ordered around the same time shipped today, hoping to be as lucky or at least to have it ship out tomorrow.

How long is everyone waiting for their phone to ship? Mine has been off back order for about 24 hrs and still processing. Freaking out because my first iPhone that I ordered was canceled and never shipped.

I have been waiting about the same since iphone 5 got off back order. Do not know why somepeople get iphone 5 shipped faster. I ordered mine at att corperate store. Read somewhere att shipping iphone within 7 to 14 days now??? Mbaybe I mistaken.

i ordered a white 16gb iphone 5 on 11/3/12. i'm not sure when it came off of backordering, but i just  checked it today and it says 'processing'. what does that exactly mean?

Went from backorder to processing today! Not out of the woods yet, since I've heard some horror stories about iPhone's being stuck on "Processing" for weeks or even changing back to "Backorder" status! Fingers crossed that we are the lucky ones!

I got a email from AT&T, my iPhone 5 has shipped today via UPS. Got tracking number, but not in UPS system yet. Have to check later for status report. Good luck with others who ordered iPhone 5.

OrderEd my iPhone 5 black 16gb yesterday morning, 11-08-12, it just came off back order this afternoon when I checked. Still waiting on a shipping email now.

Check out UPS tracking, my iPhone 5 is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday, 11/13, by end of day. It is sent 2nd Day Air, on my receipt when I ordered iPhone it said economy freight. No matter, happy iPhone 5 is on it's way.

i ordered (2) 32mb whites on 11/1. i got mine on the 7th but still waiting for the 2nd phone. they both went off of BO on 11/5 but the later has yet to ship. i find it interesting that someone else had 2 phones in the same order but my order was sent as two separate orders.

Do not feel bad about waiting for iPhone 5, because I'm pretty sure customers who ordered iphone 5 from "big red" carrier are facing the same thing like ATT customers. Yes, probraly common knowledge.

Move to US or ask a US resident to order one for you. Of course, all AT&T iPhones are locked at this time.

fyi to the OP- the US iphone does not work on the LTE band that is used outside the US, so a iphone purchased here will never get LTE speeds

I ordered (2) 32 gig white 11/14, came off backorder 11/15, will be delivered to my house monday 11/19. Pretty quick delivery.

This is for a new account, with our numbers ported over.

Not sure if it was luck, but I got my parents to order through the AT&T Premier website (to get my company's Friends and Family discount) and the order was placed on 11/16 for a 32GB black.  They shipped it yesterday 11/20.  So, less than a week to ship.
