iPhone 5 cases?

I'm kind of confused why I didn't see ANY available on the Apple website? That sucks! Anyone know of any besides Case-Mate? They charge hella for their cases and who even knows if it fits right.

Hope others show up pretty quickly.  Putting the new thinner iPhone in a bulky Otterbox case seems to me to defeat the purpose of having a thin phone in the first place

I am looking at the commutter series case.  The defender is definately a big case but great when needed for protection.

Go to eBay and search under iphone5 cases  good selections and cheap, but not sure about the quality but at least you can use it until there are more selections are out!

I would never get anything from Apple directly, knowing they always sell for FULL retail price...I would check eBay for some good cases for much cheaper prices

Apple generally doesn't make cases, except for the stupid bumper. Remember that until a week ago, no one knew for sure what the dimensions of the iPhone 5 were. Everyone is scrambling to make cases. Given that even the big name case makers haven't gotten cases out yet, I'd be wary that some no name case already on eBay will work well.

I'm a fan of the LifeProof cases. Much much MUCH less bulky than Otterbox. I feel like it protects it better. Shockproof, dirt proof, dust proof....and (and I say this tentatively) waterproof. They advertise it as waterproof, and it generally is...but if a gasket comes loose or the bottom snap protecting the charging port isn't snapped tight...you drowned your iPhone. my son used his once in the pool, and got some pics and videos underwater, which were pretty cool...and it held up just fine.

I bought a case on Ebay before I actually had the new I-Phone 4s in my hands. The company is called Ballistic, and in my opinion has to to be the VERY BEST PROTECTION for any cell phone! Alot of customers complained about bulky cases, so in response, they came out with a slimmer case for the new I-Phone 5 which at the moment is on a pre-order staus. Check out Ballistic's website and almost guarantee you'll be hooked on their cases. I'm purchasing either the Ballistic Shell Gel Series or the Ballistic Smooth Series (this is the slimmest version and maximum protection as well). You won't be disappointed!
