The wait for this phone is really aggravating... Especially since I know a few people who have walked into a store and walked out with one... Yet we are still waiting 😒 

White 16gb ordered 10/12 from AT&T store... Still on B/O of course

I just saw a posting that someone called att and they stated that October 18th orders have an expected shipping date of 11/8. I really thought it would be earlier seeing that everything was moving so fast. 

I'm on October 18th. :[

think globally - the UPS / FedEx aircraft maybe sitting in a airport that IS affected by Sandy and no take off's or landings are permitted, the flight has to originate from somewhere else

I think so too, 'cause i talked with the guy where i ordered my 16g white from (ATT retail store), he said that it would be shipped before/on NOV 15.

10/10 Order-

Phone off BO I guess last night/this morning... just got Tracking # via UPS... WHOOO HOOO!!!!!  Im pretty sure I should receive my iPhone sometime tomorrow of Thursday, which then,  I will fly home on lunch to get it!

I just checked and my phone should be coming to my house tomorrow (halloween) 

To bad I'll be out at my girlfriends that night (UPS normally hits my house at 5-6). 

Oh well, it'll be nice when I get home

@ Alisonfar     11/8 would be 14-15 business days for you. I wouldn't listen to AT&T since all he did was stay with the estimated 14-21 business days. I really don't understand calling them since they dont control it and they just want to shut people up. You will probably come off backorder Monday next week since things are moving quicker of late

10/29 morning - Status update Shipped w/tracking #

10/29 late night - Status update Shipping w/picked up info

10/30 now - Estimated arrival is end of day Halloween

10/31 future - Waiting with bated breath

I'm pleased to be wrong that I won't have to wait until November.  Thanks for all the support from all of you!  Hopefully the trend of getting them off BO quicker and shipping expedited continues!

They aren't to the 17th yet. I see they have started processing the 10/11s so it won't be too long of a wait now. These last few days are the worst though lol. I ordered a white 16g on 10/17 in the AT&T store.

10/10. 16 Gig white. Off back order last night. Still "Pending Shipment" via UPS. Waiting for tracking info to come up. When can I estimate the  delivery to be?! When is your estimated delivery?

I know when we're waiting it's hard to be patient.  I ordered on 10/3 at the AT & T store.  (32 GB Black)  On 10/27 late in the day it came off backorder.  It's now been shipped with tracking info etc via UPS 2nd day air.  Scheduled delivery is for tomorrow, Halloween "before end of day" unless there is some spooky complication along the way.  So my best advice is to place your order then just ignore it and be happily surprised when it arrives.  You know what they say "A watched iPhone never arrives"  or something like that...

The 10/10 2 White 16gbs, which came off backorder hours before the 1 Black 16gb (also going to a different location), received shipping info at some point over the course of the night. They have a shipping date of 10/30 on them, but aren't expected to be in CT until the end of the day on 11/1. The black 16gb going to NY shouldn't be too far behind.

I got the Sandy double punch!!!!! I live in southeastern PA, Sandy ripped right through my area.

Double Punched:

1. I have no power since 10 PM last night

2. My 32G Black ordered 10/3 shipped on Monday from Memphis via UPS. WAS supposed to arrive Wednesday, but now the shipping status is "EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL"   ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
