I ordered two 16G Black 4S's at about 4:30p on 10/7 in store, as I am a new customer (boy was all of that a bad decision, 20% discount through work swayed me though). Was given the 14-21 day wait. Order number 83 and 84. I don't hold any hope that they will come off backorder before the 28th, which is the 21 day mark. Ive contacted my Retail Rep and she assures me that my order has not been mysteriously cancelled or some other shenanigans. She said that they don't have any in-store and were told that they won't get more before the end of the month. She did offer to cancel my preorder if they get units into the store before my order ships, doubt they are going to get any though. Seen plenty of people who ordered the same phones I did AFTER I did have either had them come off backorder, shipped, or received and I'm starting to get pretty peeved about it. This is not "first come first serve" and if my phone doesn't ship by the 28th I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the State. Nice for all of you that have had yours ship today, the rest of us are not so lucky. Also have tried to get on Apple's reserve website to try and see if they even have any in my area and I've tried multiple times since 9pm my time only to never have the site even load- it always times out.
