My husband and I both have iPhone 3s. Numerous times we have sent texts to friends (with & without iPhones) from various carriers (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T) and they receive texts saying no content. We have also placed many calls that never go through to them. The first time I talked to AT&T, they said it was our phones. We went to Apple and they replaced our phones right away. Still, the issue continues. Finally, I've talked to AT&T three times this week and they're unwilling to help at all. I told them I want to cancel my service because I am not receiving the "service" I'm paying for. I refuse to pay the cancellation fee. Has anyone else been having issues like this? We can't be the only ones & I'd love to know what the problem is. We'll be going to Verizon as soon as AT&T "resolves" our case.

I have read reports from other people that they have problems sending text messages to users on teh Verzon netwoirk, but they receive texts from them just fine. Those same people don't seem to have any problems with placing or receiving calls. Perhaps there is an issue with the cell tower(s) in your area?
