I ordered my black iPhone 5 64gb from the apple store online and it's on processing status. The date of order was 10/30/12 and now it's 11/6/12, one week out of the 3-4 weeks and hoping to see if it comes off backorder soon. From the looks of it people are coming off of backorder with a few days with white iphones of 16gb and 32gb, havn't heard from 64gb white, but all black 16 32 and 64gb seems to move slow... however has anyone with black having any luck?

Black 32GB - Ordered Via Phone through At&T on 10/26. Off backorder 11/5 between 3 and 8pm. Carrier information and shipping date populated 11/6 at around 2:30pm. No tracking number yet.

Ordered 16 white on 11-1. Came off BO yest around 2pm, processing. Checked just now and still says processing but now has carrier listed (FedEx) and a ship date (today)! Yea! So excited! I hope everyone gets their phones soon!

Any advice on to how to get UPS to leave my phone at my house? Like many, I work during the day, and from what I gather, they need a signature. I attempted to join UPS My Choice, but it seems like I needed to join beforehand. Can someone let me know if I need to pre-authorize the signature and the best way to do that. I ordered via ATT phone, shipping UPS, expected delivery 11/8.

So my journey ends here and this will be my final post. My phone finally came today and it's in my hands right now! Here's a summary.

32 GB black ordered 10/15

Off back order 10/31

Shipped 11/1

Expected delivery 11/5 (delayed due to hurricane)

Actual delivery via UPS: 11/6

Good news is 16 and 32 GB models in both colors are now expected to ship 7-14 bus. days while the 64 GB is just 3-5 bus. days in both colors when ordered on AT&T's website. Good luck everyone! Totally worth the wait!

Another update:
white 16gb ordered 11/1 came off back order on 11/6 morning and shipped some time during the evening.
UPS tracking number given but not yet trackable
Wow this I wasnt expecting this until at least a week from now!

Same here! 16 white ordered 11-1 in store AT&T. Came off back order 11-5, processing from 11-5 to 11-6. Late afternoon on 11-6 status showed carrier and a ship date of 11-6. Yest early eve received email with tracking number and arrival date of 11-8 by 7 pm. Tracked it arriving Fort Worth TX then leaving, then arriving in Memphis TN. Has left TN so expecting it to get to local FedEx this afternoon. I hope this helps those waiting anxiously for their phones. Good luck to everyone!

Ordered my Black 32MB on 11/1/12 at 10:15 am Central time at our local AT&T store. The agent said it would take 21-28 days. However the phone came off back order 11/6/12 around 1pm. Logged in this morning to find my tracking number and that the phone shipped yesterday afternoon and will be delivered tomorrow by FedEx. . All day yesterday it just showed pending shipment. I hope this helps you.
