So my zip code isn't in the UPS delay listing. My order was processed and shipped to DFW on 10/27. been sitting there since Saturday. However, the listed still says two days left and it will be delivered by the end of Wed. That is the 3rd business day, not 2..... Geez... I ordered the things on 9/29..... Get me my phone!!!!!!!!

Seems the White 16gbs are a day or 2 ahead of the Black 16gbs. Interesting (and frustrating) ebb and flow of different models.

The 10/10 Black 16gb is now off backorder as well (somewhere over the past 2 hours or so). No shipping info on any of the 3 phones, but since I'm in the northeast, I don't expect to see it on the move for a few days, let alone having it in my hands. Hoping for end of the week or early next week. Good luck everyone!

Ordered black 16gb 10-11. Just came off BO in the past couple hrs! Unfortunately I live in nj so I don't think I'm gonna get it for a few days...{word filter evasion} u sandy! Good luck everyone!

becasue the manufacturer of the device - in this case apple does not have enough product manufacturered to cover the orders so they can;t get it to the carriers and the carriers cannot get it to you. Apple had QA issues, labor relations issues, parts issues on the device, not to mention work slow downs.

they just anounced a few changes becasue of the fiasco of the Map software, the retail issues, the QA issues and the flop of a few other things on the 5

Order on the premiere ATT website on Oct 5th. Black 32 GB.

Off Backorder Oct 29th at 6 pm.

Recieved tracking # at 9:50 am today. Almost done!

10/10 16gig white came off backorder last night around 10PM, just got my UPS tracking number! WHOO HOO! Can anyone confirm whether or not UPS will require me to sign for the package? I know Fedex didn't with my wife's 4S, or my 4 two years ago. I just don't want to leave work and wait around all day, just going to run home when it says delivered, that is my plan.

Looks like this should be coming off backorder this week  Does AT&T usually withdraw the funds from your account prior to it coming off backorder?  Haven't seen any activity but wondering if that's where I should look first for an idea of when it may come off BO.   Date Ordered: 10/15/2012

I ordered my iPhone 5 32gb on 9/15 from the AT&T store and I have not received a call from them yet... It's been a month and a half now. I'm not sure when I will get my phone. I went to their store and ask about my phone last week and all I got was "Did you get a call from us yet?" and I said no. He then replied "Well you gotta wait some more, okay?" This guy was the store manager too... I understand that I have to wait but he didn't have to give me attitude and everyone who ordered their phone online after I pre-ordered already got their iphones. Anyone else have waited for about 6 weeks now since pre-ordering their iPhone in store?
