When will the pre-ordered iPhone 5 ship? [ Edited ]

Using your store zip code will work - pick to use the wireless #, zip code do the stores, and it will work. Mine does.

Is the sign your iPhone is off backorder the "pending shipment" as opposed to "processing"? I've never experienced this before and don't know what to think.

I've been keeping up with this post for a while now & finally decided to make a username so I can put some feedback in! I actually ordered my white 16GB iPhone 5 on September 21st. I wasn't able to sign the 2YR contract through my phone so I did it through a AT&T rep! I didn't get any info on my phone (except from the rep saying it would ship in 5 business days). The next Monday I still didn't have any info so I called AT&T they said everything was fine.. So I waited. Ended up calling back on the 26th .. A rep said I didn't sign the 2YR agreement so my phone was not being processed. But I did through a rep with AT&T so they put that my phone had not been processed until the 26th. YAY! My phone is currently still on back order.

When you check use your number and then use the zip code of the store you ordered it from. For instance if the store's zip code is the same as yours it should work. If the store's is different then you need to use that one. I had the same issue and I ordered from the store with shipping to the store and when I view the status I have to use the store's zip code instead of mine.

Can you believe this. I checked my order status and this is what the note at the bottom said!

the stores zip code is the same as mine and  I have tried but I get an error saying it can't find my order and to call. So when I did call they told me they can't track att inventory when it's being sent to a store and to call the retail store. When I did call them the rep there said its against their policy to track shipments which was really funny if you ask me.. spoke to the manager and he told me that they get information after I am emailed information and that they would call when it arrives. This endless cycle is horrible but its already been 23 business days so I figured I'll keep waiting.

my white 16gb order, processed 9/23 has shipped (approx. 10 hours from coming off BO). I have the tracking number too! I guess I'll be back in 2 years for the iPhone 6 #deathwait. Hope you all get your iPhones soon!

My moms white 16gb that was processed on the 22nd came of BO last night. Got tracking number earlier today, UPS to deliver on Tuesday. Meanwhile my own white 16gb that I ordered on the 24th came off BO earlier tonight. No tracking number yet. I still live with my parents (being a college student and all) so since hers is being delivered by UPS, can I expect mine to be delivered by UPS too since its the same address? Keep in mind it's 2 separate orders

Both my phones came off BO!!!!!!!!! I ordered in store .9/26. 2 blk 16 i5's. They came off between 12am and 550am EST. so I'm guessing I will have my phones early next week?
