My dad ordered his on sep 29th and i ordered mine on oct 6th he got a black 32gb and i got a white 32gb. When do you guys think ours will be shipping? Has anyone else ordered around this time? Also were on att if that matters.

Well, I think I figured it out. Like others have said, you just have to keep calling back until you get someone who is willing to cooperate/knows what they're doing. Just called in again and it was cancelled within 5 minutes, with my upgrade restored almost immediately. Got the email confirmation from Premier about as quickly. So the moral of the story is persistence, I guess. I would recommend trying to call at different times of day. First thing in the morning I got the run around.

I ordered a 16gb white on 9/19 in an AT&T store and after 3 weeks of waiting I decided to cancel.  I went to the store to cancel, the 1st rep told me no but the 2nd one did with no problem.  My upgrade was immediately restored and I just arranged to pick up a 32gb white tomorrow at the Apple Store

just a little status update, ordered my 16gb black model in store on 9/19 and just went off backorder about 2 hours ago. I ordered it around 10:45 am cst.

I ordered 3 white 16 gb phones 9/19. It appears as if the 9/19 customers are finally being helped but I've never been spoiled by instant gratification before so I'm not going to cry if I have to wait another week. Got my hopes up high though, because I currently don't have a phone at all -.-

you will probably be better off cancelling your order and calling stores to see if it is in stock, if you are in a hurry of course. Otherwise it could be upwards of another 2 weeks.

Ordered a white 16 gb in store on 9/24. The last couple days I'm seeing more people that ordered 9/20 and after are starting to post on this board. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I was highly considering canceling my order and just order on the apple store. But reading all these post and it just seems it either goes good or bad. So I think I'm just gonna wait it out. Already been waiting for 2 weeks so why risk something going wrong. Fingers crossed and I hope I see my status change in the next 10 days at least. Let's hope apple has a strong production week and AT&T gets these orders processed quickly! Good luck everybody

If you have a 16gb white phone on order, I think you are in for a good long wait. It seems to me those might be the hardest to come by right now. I have one from 9-20 order that is still on backorder. Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen posts here from anyone actually getting one recently but I could be wrong.

Maybe, but my friend in New York, ordered on 09/21 - white and she got it last Monday ... Uch... really don't kno what to think anymore.... I just  hope it will all end very soon...

Finally got hold of my iphone5 package yesterday. For everone, it was a 9/17 7:32pm posted order. I want to thank everyone who shared their thoughts, expeiences through their posts in this forum. Reading through all these posts and knowing that there are other people on the same boat made me able to get through the crazy "Processing" status.

Just want to let everyone know, hang in there, hope all of you guys get urs soon....once you get the phone you will find its worth the wait!!!

I ordered the 16 GB white on 9/18 and after 3 weeks of waiting the backorder came off last night.   Then this morning I received my tracking number.  It looks like a shipment of iphone's came in and they are getting them shipped out.  Mine should be here tomorrow so at least they are overnighting them to customers.  Good Luck everyone its been a long wait but I'm sure it will be worth it.
