Still nothing from Apple. It's been "preparing for shipment" since Monday, so if people think Apple is better than AT&T, it isn't.

I ordered at about 3:00 AM Central Time on the 14th. No tracking # yet, but looks like it shipped out on the 16th. I am sure they will get here on the 21st.

I looked this morning at about 6:30 AM and this info was not there yet, so it is just posted now.

Yesterday evening (10:44PM), I received an email from ATT Premier reconfirming that my order is reserved.

I have not received a tracking # yet.

You gotta use this link with you cell # (cell # only, I dunno why order # can't get it to work)

then you will see the tracking#. I did not see the tracking # under my att wireless account manager. But with the above link, it shows the tracking # from Fedex (not trackable yet)

I still get preorder processing if I check the primier page, and nothing when I check by wireless number on http://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status. Ordered a 1:45PM (I know, late) on Friday. I know it won't be here in the initial push, but it would be nice to be able to check my "real" status. Any ideas?

I have tracking shown. Unfortunately, two of them are coming in one fedex package and mine is coming UPS. I was hoping to get them at the same time so I could go buy apple care on them since I didn't see an option fo rit when I ordered them

I don't think I want to have to go Friday to the Apple store to buy it...lol

The second one I ordered on 9/14 says shipped - the first one I ordered on 9/14 still says I ordered it on 9/15 - which is wrong and that it's backordered. However - I received two seperate emails from premier saying:

"We wanted to confirm that your order is reserved and should arrive as soon as September 21, 2012. "

I wonder if the white ones are back ordered and the black ones are not. Who knows. You'd think by now they'd have this all figured out.

That makes me feel good...... I was at 10am Central time.... so it's good to know they have already worked through the early morning orders and now are probably making their way to me...... Those of us still in the dark still have until tomorrow to get shipping info.

I order two phones at around 2:40am on 9/14 one 16 gb blck and one 16 gb wht. I just checked order status and the blck one has shipped and got tracking number too thru fedex but not the white one.

When I follow the link on the order confirmation email, it still shows processing. But I just logged on to my at&t account to check the status from there, and it says SHIPPED! No tracking number yet. I order 9/14 at 6:00 am (CST). Good luck everyone!

Still nothing checking my order status through Apple other than "preparing for shipment". However, based on what I read on the Apple forum, you can track by reference number on the UPS website. Was able to find it using my home phone number (not cell number), as that is the one on the order billing info. The Apple order number didn't work, but after getting the tracking number, I see that the Apple order number is a reference, but the last 2 digits are missing.

To sum up, Apple orders try going to UPS, track by reference, and either put in the phone number that's listed on your order status (may not be your cell number), or partial Apple order number (in my case a letter and 7 digits - entire order number was letter and 9 digits).

Mine left China on 9/17, Anchorage late 9/18, and is scheduled for delivery 9/21. Good luck! HTH.

me: Ok

Adrianna: Thank you

Adrianna: Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail with the carrier information and Tracking Number.

me: Do you have an estimated time on that?

me: Can you see if the order will make it by the 21st?

Adrianna: I do not have a tracking number yet. Was your order placed before 9am on the 14th?

me: It was placed at 10am

me: Central

Adrianna: So more thank likely It was sent out with the wave 2 orders, those wil be in sometime between the 4th and the 14th (of October)

me: I have to admit, that seems a bit ridiculous....

me: I missed the cut off by an hour so my phone will be shipped a month from now?

Adrianna: Im sorry, It was a first come first serve order process.

This is my first time ever pre ordering a phone, and getting an iphone. I have googled this a bunch of times and haven't found any answers.

So I pre ordered the phone on the 15th over phone, and they said the email conformation and order status should be sent within 24 hours, well it has been 5 days. I tried the at&t order status search a billion times and says no order has been placed.

They already took the money the day I ordered it, so what is this lol? And I don't want to call and bug them like all the other 24995935 people asking the same thing.

I know for sure I gave him the right email address.

I just checked my online order status and there were finally tracking numbers there! I placed my order at 3:37am on 9/14 EST. The numbers are not active yet with FEDEX, but it claims it will be delivered on the 21st!!! I hope this is true!

I ordered mine through an AT&T representative on Friday around noon and was told it would ship for first week of release delivery, now am getting told 14-21 days. Seems ridiculous that my order on Friday, the first day of preorder is shipping at the same timeframe as orders made today. It is also impossible to get real time information from AT&T which is a major fault in the system. Would be better for AT&T and Apple to work together to share order numbers and correlate so that we could check shipping info on Apple.com...which is much more on top of it.

This was my first time doing the preorder through AT&T and I am very disappointed. I am leaving the country now before my phone arrives. I was guaranteed that it would make it before I left and now it won't come until I am halfway across the world.

Well I ordered by phone on Friday as well. It was 10 or 11am MTN, and I didn't receive my confirmation and email to accept the terms and conditions until early Saturday. This means my order is not showing as "placed" until the 15th even though ATT kindly took my money immediately on the 14th. My order is still showing as "processing." So I'm guessing, based on the comments, I'll get my phone in the 3rd wave!
