Can you order the new iphone 4 as an upgrade from Apple if you are already a At&t customer?  I have the 2G Iphone currently...the { Please keep it courteous }  manager at the local At&t store today said that I can only upgrde and get it from At&t online.

You CAN get it from apple using your upgrade. Thats how I got my 3GS

If it is accurate that it is PST instead of PDT then 12a PST is:

01a PDT

02a MDT

03a CST

04a EST

To be fair, in one thread you posted p.m. then in another you posted  a.m. and in all of them you kept posting PST, (Pacific STandard Time) which we are not in here on the Pacific Coast. WE ARE IN (DST) DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.  Hence all the confusion!

Thanks for your reply. Can you explain why you're providing the time in Pacific STANDARD Time when the current time zone for that area is Pacific DAYLIGHT Time? It's causing some confusion as to the precise time you're telling us. (Go to Google and type 'time' to see that all current US times are daylight times.) Some users have taken your insistence on STANDARD time to mean that they need to convert the time you're providing to DAYLIGHT time.

So I was talking to AT&T rep today and he said the time you can pick it up is decided by when you preorder it. Basicaly it goes by batches first come first serve. So my question is, if I preorder it from AT&T will the site tell me the date 24th or 25th before I hit submit.

I"m willing to wake up early and wait on line the 24th but if I can preorder it and stroll in a few hours later on the 24th that would be sweet.

There have been no announcements (that I  have seen or heard) about the opening time for preorder, so I would think it is going to be the normal opening time.  Just called my nearest AT&T corporate store and they said 9am, which is the usual opening time.
