I do not understand what is so difficult to make the service of unlocking, at & t will profit, and users will be pleased. And with such a situation, both sides remain with nothing. AT & T does not receive anything, and we sit with the ipod.

Read all the posts here. It does not matter what we think. For now they do not unlock iphones and you can make all the arguments you want because they are not new.

NOOOOOOOO! Read all the posts here. ATT does not unlock iPhones. Next time do your research before you buy your iPhone!

Long standing policy....They do not unlock iPHones... The reasons do not matter!

I guess AT&T changed its policy because they just unlocked my old 3gs for me. No code required, and had to have been at least 2 years old, but they did it and it works with my tmobile prepaid sim card. Just had to backup, erase, connect to itunes and restore.
